To our Origin Athletics Clients.
We continue to monitor updates regarding the COVID-19 virus along with having internal discussions on how this may impact our clients and employees. The Governor of Michigan has just released the attached order related to “Temporary restrictions on the use of places of public accommodation.”
“Beginning as soon as possible but no later than March 16, 2020 at 3:00 pm, and continuing until March 30, 2020 at 11:59 pm, the following places of public accommodation are closed to ingress, egress, use, and occupancy by members of the public:”
Our business is listed in addition to several other publicly accessed businesses including bars and restaurants.
We will comply with this directive and will need to close down the Origin Athletics this afternoon at 3:00pm. We will still have a small staff on site today to manage communication and calls/emails from our clients.
Any and all currently reserved paid instruction or other paid reservations will be held as a credit for future use. Currently, the shutdown to support the spread of the disease is planned for the next 2 weeks. We will continue to monitor the situation and stay in touch via email to all our clients as things develop over the next 2 weeks.
